Welcome to the official site of the Jingle Bell Run, a 5K fun run/walk that benefits the Papillion-La Vista Health Systems Academy held on Saturday, December 1st, 2012. The event start/finish will be hosted at Shadow Lake Towne Center in Papillion, Nebraska.
The day will start with the Penguin Run, a 1 mile fun run/walk for both kids and adults. The Jingle Bell Run, including the Mr. & Mrs. Claus Division, will definitely provide entertainment since costumes are encouraged for all participants. Finally, as if getting out for a 5K fun run/walk in December isn't crazy enough, there is the Reindeer Run for teams of 3-4 people to compete tethered together and the Fruitcake Challenge where participants will have to eat gobs of fruitcake at various challenge points throughout the route.
As you can see, this is definitely a one of a kind event, so find your scarf and mittens, bundle up, and get ready to have some FUN!
