8:00 a.m. - 8:55 a.m. - Check-in / Packet pick-up
8:40 a.m. - Penguin Run Pre-Race announcements
8:45 a.m. - Penguin Run (1 Mile) Start
8:55 a.m. - Pre-Race announcements
9:00 a.m. - Jingle Bell Run / Mr. & Mrs. Claus Run (5K) Start
9:45 a.m. - Medals, Awards, and Prize Winners

NOTE: Participants that pick up their packets at Packet Pick-up do not need to check-in. Just arrive prior to pre-event announcements with your race bib and timing piece, and ready to run/walk. All participants need a race bib. Complete packet pick-up details are found on the Registration page.

Registration and check-in will be located in the parking lot near Firestone in the Southeast corner of Shadow Lake Towne Center. The event route will use the roads south of the shopping center's property and the lake in the Shadow Lake housing development. A race map will be available soon.
NOTE: The chance of snow and freezing temperatures can cause slick conditions on the route and goose droppings will be inevitable. You will be running at your own risk, so please be careful!
Medals & Awards
Medals will be awarded in the Jingle Bell Run to the top 3 females and top 3 males in each age group.
Age Groups: 19 & under; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; and 50 to 59.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 females and top 3 males in the Mr. & Mrs. Claus Run (60 & up).
There are no official medals awarded for the 1-Mile Penguin Run, but all participants will get a take-away gift.
Water Stations / First Aid / Restrooms
A water station will be available on the course. First aid will be available at the registration table. If restroom use is needed, please be considerate of the surrounding businesses and use the portable restrooms that will be provided near the start/finish.
Cancellations & Refunds
Sorry, there are no refunds. The entry fee for this year's event will not transfer to next year's event.
The weather will more than likely be cold - it is December in Nebraska. Please plan and dress accordingly! The event will continue as scheduled unless extremely severe weather conditions exist. In the event of cancellation due to weather, there will be no refunds because all proceeds of the event benefit the Papillion-La Vista Health Systems Academy.
